Review – Hyatt Regency Jacksonville

Last week I finished a 2 night stay at Hyatt Regency Riverfront – Jacksonville. I booked a week in advance on Government rate which was $83 per night.
As I am new to the Hyatt brand, I wanted to try Hyatt Regency and work on my 2016 Diamond qualification.

I checked in a bit early and was acknowledged at the front desk as a Diamond member. I booked the basic room and was upgraded to the club level with 2 queen beds and river facing. There was major renovation going on at the hotel especially in the pool and gym area yet I did not hear anything in the room.

The room was airy and light and did not feel claustrophobic. Turn down service was provided every night along with few chocolate samples.

In short, I would say it’s a pretty decent hotel with a nice view. I had access to the Club but did not spend enough time there to take pictures.
